Nah, I don't think Philly's current construction scene was an advantage and deciding factor in choosing Philly over Brooklyn. Local media reported that the DNC chose Philly over Brooklyn due to logistic and security factors. Also, IMHO, I think Brooklyn got passed over b/c de Blasio is not in favor (because of the recent muck up of protest and ist own NYPD) with the unions right now, who are strong Dem supporters.
Now back to the CITC construction forum: anyone know when the first crane will be installed?
