Lol it does look like it. But hey now, Miami has some nice things going for it.

I'll take this any day of the week than the commie-block, brutalist era architecture of Chinese Cities. Glass > concrete slabs.

True, this is better than those apartment buildings going up in China.

Williamsburg's New Waterfront Rentals Reveal Details

At long last, the third Northside Piers building has allowed us to stop staring at its shiny facade, which has been finished for months, and given us the first peek inside. The 40-story, 510-unit rental tower, designed by FXFOWLE, now has a teaser site, which comes to us by way of a magnanimous tipster who spotted the URL on a sign plastered on the roof.

Based on the limited information for prospective tenants, 1N4 (or One North Fourth, or 1 North 4th Place—no, they didn't change the crappy name) will have studios through three-bedrooms, priced at $2,000 through $6,500. More revealing are the renderings, which offer the first look at an outdoor pool, an indoor amenity space, and a corner apartment with Manhattan views. Let's not forget some primo marketing babble, promising "Luxury Addressed" and offering up photos of a man in a peacoat, people bicycling, and a sleeping baby held by a plaid shirt-wearing man with copious arm tattoos. Remember, a pinata shaped like this building was battered about by residents of the other two Northside Piers towers, whose views are now blocked.
