BY LAUREN A. E. SCHUKER
Time Warner Inc. is eyeing several new possibilities for its headquarters in Manhattan, from moving to the new World Trade Center to building a new tower on the West Side of Manhattan, as it undertakes a broader evaluation of its real estate situation in New York, according to people close to the situation.

The expiration of several high-profile leases later this decade prompted the media company, which owns Time Inc., HBO, CNN and Warner Bros., to conduct the analysis of the roughly 4 million square feet it occupies in Manhattan.

Some of those leases—including ones for more than 2 million ...

Thanks. Presumably, it's not in the lobby where anyone can see it (assuming that visitors can even access the lobby).

It's highly definitely most likely on floor 38 since that's where Silverstein's offices are. You'd probably need to have an actual business reason for going in other than just to see the models.

This would be a FABULOUS spot for Time Warner. They could put a studio overlooking the transit center and 9/11 Memorial Plaza. Stunning!

Awesome find RW. It seems its only a matter of time before we hear about a huge lease at one of these towers.

And for anyone interested I posted a link to the Silverstein interview on the last page, I think it's the second to last post on the page.

I think Time Warner would likely stick with Related, and move over to the west side, similarly to what Conde Nast planned to do when Durst was in the running there, and what they have done by following Durst Downtown. Their decision won't be made until sometime later next year, so it wouldn't help the cause here in the short term.

Here's a little info...

http://www.observer.com/2011/09/silv...to-life-video/

Quote:
Silverstein Properties, along with Mayor Bloomberg, Chris Ward, Daniel Liebeskind, Michael Arad and pretty much every other person working at the World Trade Center site, held a construction update in the new 10th-floor leasing office inside 7 World Trade Center yesterday.

There wasn’t much news, but it was impressive to see the efforts being made to attract more tenants to the site (Condé’s in, but UBS is out). There are interactive touch screens with neighborhood amenities and transportation news—as though there were any question Tribeca and FiDi is a worse place to work than Midtwon—plus a 12-foot model of the finished site. It’s so big, the 1 WTC antenna is clipped to fit under the soaring ceilings.
I hope that model goes on display permanently somewhere.

I think it'll be more likely that Time Warner will not move into 2 WTC, but expand to 2 WTC

Not to be RUDE or anything, but did I miss a post or did some give an update as to - at what floor will the construction of 2WTC stop.
I would appreciate if someone just left a link and not a comment. Or I'll just wait till an update is posted.
By the way, this building is awesome... And it compliments 1

Wow! I did not realize that construction of the actual building, as opposed to infrastructure, was starting.
