Season Pass Addiction

Does anyone else buy season passes for cultural or recreational venues in Metro Vancouver?

I have passes for Grouse Mountain, Science World, and the Aquarium, among others. I actually tried to buy a season's pass for the Harbour Centre's Lookout, but they didn't have one to sell!

(I guess only a handful of people actually want to go to the viewing deck more than once)

You can only select one option with this poll - can you change it to allow multiple selections?

I don't have a pass to any, but of them all perhaps I'd be most interested in Capilano Bridge. The workout you get by hiking around that area is unreal.

I guess Grouse Mountain, too.... maybe...

No...I had a tourism Vancouver pass and got bored of it pretty quickly (free Grouse, Harbour Centre, etc).
I guess by Cypress you mean for the lift? As I go hiking from time to time and never needed any pass whatsoever (summer or winter).

I'd get pretty bored visiting those several times a year....except for Grouse and Cypress.

well I got the capilano suspension bridge pass which I shouldnt have gotten. although, I think if I went more than 3 times in the year I would have saved money. In hindsight there really isnt any reason to go more than once.

I didn't buy any season passes....it would be enough to visit those places once a year. And if there were any special exhibitions that I wanted to go, I would buy another day pass

I wonder if Vancouver would ever have those "City Passes" where you can visit several museums and venues in a 14 day period. Seattle, Toronto, and many other places have them.

I have an Art Gallery membership and will go multiple times per exhibit if they're worthwhile. It's a great place to spend a dreamy, introspective afternoon, rainy or otherwise.

An extra option should be "NONE"

I don't get it - where's a playland season's pass? That's as valid as a Grouse or Cypress pass.
It should be on there...

I've never been to the Art Gallery. I feel so... uncultural... apparently uncultured enough to not immediately know that's not a word.

I did want to check out the manga and anime exhibit, but I couldn't find likeminded geeks last year.

That was KRAZY! and it was amazing. You should have went. The art gallery is not the kind of place with whom you need someone else to go. It's almost better on your own. When I go with someone else there's the joy in discussing things but also the frustration of going through at different paces.
