BERLIN - the update thread

It is quite a run down area because of the wall, which does need a lot of work done in the area which is good!

However, the area around the wall will be kept as a memorial so not much construction there!

As far as I can remember Nordbahnhof is sitting on its own in a sort of no-mans land area!

I also walked up Acker strasse, the area is basically low cost housing, there was a former AEG factory building at the top of the street, the areas look quite grim but I had a beer in a bar up there, seemed dedicated to German football!
