Kitchener-Waterloo on a Blackberry

For a city it's size, it's core has much more potential than shown. Dense and interesting archetechture to boot.

Suburban sprawllllllll in the region reminds me tremendously of Ottawa or Missisauga for some reason. LRT however will make it look snazzy once implemented.

Old vs. New

This would have made for a great downtown mall if it stayed successful but alike most others (not all) in the province, the suburbs sucked the life out of them.

Wow, it's much, much more substantial than I had expected. Downtown looks solid. Thanks!

What the hell happened here:

How does an office building end up having a lowly bar tenant on the corporate logo signage at the top of the building?

Is this office empty now?

I always wondered about that too...Honest Lawyer is a good place to go for a brew but...I dunno if it deserves to be slapped on the side of a building. Unless it's perhaps the largest tenant...

I appreciate the irony of the title of your photothread.

Unfortunately, given the fact that RIM is currently on life support, by this time next year the title will have to be changed to Kitchener/Waterloo on an iPhone..
