Thumbs up

Astonishing vid!
Awesome podiums. The granite on Uptown looks better than trump. Those Crystal Blu crystals are really growing on me.

The Uptown Granite probably looks more classy but the Black Granite on Trump might not have gone well with the Bay Street colours!

The little crystals on the podium of crystal blu are small but they look ok. (even though they look kinda cheesy!)

Yes, good video update. Uptown is changing the face of Yonge & Bloor area, such a dramatic change after years of CIBC & Manulife domination.

Also by Ramako at UT:

Uptown is a game changer in this shot! what a difference without it!... once Four Seasons, U condos, and 1 Bloor are built, this side of town will have a much larger feel to it!

Do we really need this same photo posted for every building U/C that happens to be in view?

yes. .... not to be annoying but Uptown is kinda the star of that photo..

Uptown by Casaguy:

Boy is Uptown hot right now!!! Uptown is in the leagues for epicness as Manulife is! Just so close to it, yet it will be 9 F*CKN FEET SHORTER!!!! why couldn't they have added an antenna or Yao Ming to stand on top of it!!!!!!!!!!! grrrrrr

Brilliant photos guys! cladding progress seems to have slowed a bit

I absolutely love how all these 3 skyscrapers look together! Just super insane density there! I wish more were like them cause its super New York like to have tall skyscrapers just next-door!

I BELIEVE UPTOWN's RESIDENTIAL FLOORS are topped off... all that is left is mechancial

I'm not going to be swayed by height. This tower sucks ass. It's easily one of the cheapest lookin' towers built in the downtown during this boom cycle. Sure the podium is granite but the other 40+ floors are North York Centre quality pre-cast. The granite also has a dated 80s design and the colour couldn't be further from the light coloured concrete. The overall impression is just plain odd. R.I.P Uptown ... your grand deco-ness will not be forgotten!
