Since we've surpassed our negativity quota in the past few weeks, here are some infographics that were part of the request for proposals put out by Waterfront Development for the Coast Guard/Fundy Quay site. I'm most impressed by the uptown retail stats!

Also on that blog post is a link to the full RFP presentation: http://peoplecity.ca/wp-content/uplo...ited_Final.pdf

Carter's/OshKosh will officially set up their first store in New-Brunswick at the Smart Centres Saint John (Westmorland Road / McAllister Drive - Saint John, New Brunswick).

I have also heard that there won't be a Costco Gas Station due to the fact the parking lot is the minimum size for Costco Store. Furthermore, Costco does not own anymore land and there are no plan to buy anymore at this point.

According to this blog, the liquidation of the Lancaster Mall Zellers will be starting next Friday, rather than tomorrow as previously reported. Anyone able to substantiate this?

[Ninja Edit]: This Wednesday, March 14th, according to Zellers' own website.

In other news, I went to Zellers on the west side this morning to check out their liquidation sale. Presently they have everything marked down between 10% and 30%, and they're selling everything--even the counters.

Just got confirmation that Plaza Corp has purchased the coop store on the Golden Mile and that Princess Auto are indeed opening a store in this location.

Kents will be starting to build the new store also on the Golden Mile in the next few weeks.

Finally some more stores on the West side!! Target will be here soon!

That explains why suddenly I'm receiving a bunch of Princess Auto stuff lately in my community mailbox and in the newspaper.

Neat.

So if Kents is going to build on the Catherwood/Fairville Boulevard lot any idea where all those trucks/trailers that are currently sitting there are going to go?
Obviously another to another Irving Property, any ideas where though?
