I guess its the floor plate difference between how high they build the hotel floors and how high they build the condo floors. It just seems so small in comparison to the Condo section of the building.

Hotel rooms are also not going to be near as large as condominiums, so there are many more per floor.

No need to apologize, homework is more important.

They just started moving the platforms up for the 16th floor, which is the first condo floor.

Nice LoneStar. The W is AMLI's twin for the moment. Nice fit to the skyline.
And yes Raining Inside homework IS more important.

I love the pics. Another rainy day in Austin and my area today, not as heavy as yesterday though.

Hey looky, we have a waterfront skyline!

This is shaping up to be such a glorious scene. I sat and watched for a few minutes.

Great shots Kevin. I'm really diggin this view.

Love how the buildings line up against 3rd street... You don't see this 'wall' effect much in downtown Austin (at least among taller buildings).

Can't wait for the Austonian crown construction! At the moment, the top of the building looks a bit awkward (of course).

Thank you everyone for sending these capitalizing pics here. I love KFT's "waterfront" skyline pic.

So the big news with this building is the financing will run dry at the end of november unless they get a new lender. Will they get one in time? Anyone heard any news?

This building is looking beautiful i love how its going to help shape 3rd street with the amli creating a nice alley.

I sure hope they get the necessary financing before they have to stop construction. If they have as many contacts for the condominiums (over half with non-refundable deposits) as they have said, and considering the hotel portion and Austin City Limits venues are sure to be successful, and they still can't get financing then our lending climate is worse than I imagined.

I was just at the building today.

Its looking great. They have started pouring the 22nd floor. According to them they are ahead of schedule by about a month.

The blue glass and metal looks fantastic.

I'm going back next week and going on site for a tour including going up to the 15th floor. ill post pics when i get them
