SHANGHAI | Kerry Center Phase 2 | 853 FT / 260 M | 652 FT / 199 M

This is the expansion to the Kerry Center which is located on Tongren Rd. and Nanjing Rd. West. One will be a hotel anchored by Shangri-la, the other will be office.
This project is pretty exciting as it will fill in one of the last remaining plots in the Jing An Business District (JABD). The bleakness of these plots in and around the JABD cannot be understated. This project will help push the area into becoming a more cohesive and pleasing urban experience.
The completion date is set for 2010.

Renderings

I'll have a great view of the construction from my bedroom window. Lucky me.

The 1950s revisited.
This design reminds me of the Lever House.

Hmm, Tongren / Nanjing Xi - isn't this the corner where the City Diner is? Do I have the street names wrong?

^ Same corner.
The plot is huge, so it actually borders Tongren, Yan An, Nanjing and another road that's name escapes me at the moment.

^^
Ah, I know now. Those renderings are showing a view facing north, from Yan'An. Fucked my head up a bit.

I think the fourth road would be Shanxi (Nan) Lu, right?

Definitely looks like a nice addition to that block.
