interestingly enough, the Harbour Commision building (the one you guys are talking about) was originally built on a pier sticking out into the lake. nowadays, it is over 1000 feet away from the shore.

Front Street actually use to mean "Front Street" nine its almost a full click back from the lake.

Thats what they're saying, but remember the original application requested a variance on traffic so they could excavate the entire site.

I was personally at the site a couple days ago, and the entire site is being shored.

no, they are only building the office tower as of right now. they might be building either the garage of the condos or the retail base as well, I don't know. The condos will not be built as of right now though. Not to say that by the time the construction reaches the towers they won't have enough sales and they will just continue them though.
