^ Exactly my thoughts! So glad to see a human-scaled base.

One building of this size with something going on at ground level does 10x more for street life and actual neighborhood-building than ten 50-story towers on parking pedestals. More of this for Miami please!

It also injects some much-needed color into the sea of painted white concrete and glass balcony railings. It's a subtle injection of color, but very well done.

MyBrickell is topped off. You can see them working on the roof here:

This was a quick top off! Another 300+ footer for Miami!

Not having to spend time on a parking podium helps.

Looking dwarfed by all the surrounding buildings, not much of a view. Going to get worse once CityCentre is completed across the street.

Good pic but you are right it looks puny compared by the surrounding buildings. Who knew there would be a day when a 300 footer can literally disappear from the Miami skyline! Hopefully the prices will be a lot cheaper than nearby buildings since it doesn't have parking & mass transit is right across the street.

I'd love to see more buildings of this height and shorter fill in the skyline... increasing density and providing vertical variation... especially ones not built atop parking podiums.

Totally agree. It's surprising how many open/under developed plots there are from Brickell up to the Omni area. I wish we could get more infill to add to that urban feel, plus it'd be nice to see prices for rentals in the area drop *sigh*. Too bad the opposite of the latter seems to be occuring at this point.

There are 5 or so 10 to 20 story rentals going up west of the Metrorail tracks right now. They don't get much attention but will add quite a bit of vitality to the Brickell area.

The relatively finished product. A nice little building. Like the rooftop pool but I don't know how sunny it will be once Brickell CityCentre completes across the street and MyBrickell is boxed in on all sides by taller buidings.

A lot less color than the renderings originally suggested. Which is a shame, because that's the only thing that made this stand out.
