Bah, troubles are forgotten as time goes by.

Good idea of a thread. As far as I know, for now neighboring Croatia is more pop and may be slightly more successful, growing touristy for featuring some very nice Adriatic coastline while still being more inexpensive than Italy or southern France. The Croatians are the latest to have been allowed in the EU. Guess that's a sign of their recent economic growth.

However, this obviously appears larger, more modern and urban than anything I ever saw over touristy Croatia, but I never went to Zagreb. I think it's worth enlarging the EU just a little bit more for the Serbs. They belong to us after all.

And also take a look at this:

And this is who really welcomed there:

This is also in Belgrade, and it's real people's choice who to be with.

And this is how USA together with EU sent some "friendly parcels" to the people which, as you say, "belong to us after all". Take a look:

And this is not all. This is just some samples. In reality - there are hundreds of such samples how friendly Europe to Serbia.

There was war. That's always ugly and always brings sorrow. Period.
Really, if you're a good educated Christian person, you should practice forgiveness as you were taught to. That feels much better, doesn't it?

Good pictures! Belgrade definately looks more grey then many other Eastern European capitals, for example Prague Budapest or Vilnius, but it seem to have its share of nice places and buildings as well.
