actually not so bad looking up close. but the interior is dull and boring. come on, they can do better than white walls and white bathroom tiles!! at least use a different colored paint.

crazy...but nice.

It's always interesting to see what the Chinese people got...compared
to what we have here in Vancouver...everything is quite different and
so are the plans.

Sorry about that...I know this is an issue that gets a lot of debates about it.

there is no debate. especially when talking architecture, Taiwan and China evolved along different paths, with Taiwan being far more Japanese while China is ironically more western. Go figure...

yea but the tiles look nicer than the typical boring tiles they use in the mrt stations. i think the interior looks quite nice but it looks kind of cramped for a main bus terminal, no? especially when you compare it to the high speed stations.

The inside is not that bad. I took Ho Hsin today from there to Taichung. It is clean and very nice. The tile doesn't seem that bad when you are there in person.

agreed when you compare it to those MRT stations....

Everytime I go to Seattle, I feel like Taipei's MRT stations copied Seattle's Westlake Station:

Look at the identical tiles...

I have been to the new mall and the terminal.

I think the bus terminal is up to the standard(tw), but the air quality is really bad in the waiting area as many ppl have mentioned.

The mall's interior design is pretty good comparing to other TW malls.

However, I still don't like the design of the building and the podium of the building not open to the public.
