1A is washed out on both sides of Exshaw now. People there are quite literally trapped.

Heritage Drive is now closed under Glenmore Trail. It is usually impacted by spring flooding.

I'm heading to Invermere after work. Looks like we are going through Crowsnest and back up that way.

Hopefully Highway 1 is open on Sunday.

I wouldn't count on getting through that way either.

You ain't getting to Invermere via 3 unless you leave RIGHT NOW. And even then I'm doubtful.

Been talking about this at the office (other folks had plans for the area this weekend). I think going through Edmonton or Montana might be the only options. And I'm not even sure of that. We're talking 8, 12, 20 hour drives regardless.

I also doubt #1 is open by Sunday. Not with major portions washed out and more rain expected all weekend. Unless they manage a heck of a detour in record time.

Our flooding up here is a joke compared to what those pictures are showing.
