Paris - Part final (3) - Montparnasse, Panth, Le zoo, Bast, Pomp, Coulee, White Lies

Our final two days were quite diverse, unexpected, wonderful and a most ridiculous walk to get to The White Lies at the Trabendo.

Your soundtrack for this final bit.

Europe

A new addition to the seine

Le Highline du Paris, Coulee Verte

Pompous

Spaceship has landed!

The White Lies

Catching some morning rays

Sunday Brunch! Each day should begin with this offering.

Love this one

Just another Dimanche en Paris

Playgrounds in the city!

Le vroom vroom

Love this one.

A highlight of the trip was going to Saint Chapelle at night (yes yes, no sunlight) for a 40 person violin solo of Bach, absolutely surreal.

To end the trip we had a late diner at Le Cafe du Commerce (thanks James). Old style French service, setting and plates. It was delicious

Off to ORLY-KEF-YEG

So, I'm just asking, why using any camera when people from abroad are always better than me to picture it?

Sweet! Good to see you wouldn't miss what's really good here. Wish we could export more of these hardcore stinky things, but many foreign countries would still be scared by these products. That's too bad.

Notice that blue cheeses like Gorgonzola (that's from Italy) or Roquefort are even said to be healthy for the penicillium they contain; some sort of bacteria that would be friendly to human organism. That's what they say... Who cares anyway? Those cheeses really wouldn't kill anyone over here.

One crucial piece of advice, however. Never forget your toothbrush and toothpaste to avoid any unfortunate aftermath when you talk to people after lunch.

Is the Pompidou center really pompous? Maybe. That was just an attempt to settle some modern landmark over the most central old districts. Many locals find it awkward indeed.
I should say it's still been convenient for its purpose, as a contemporary art and design exhibition center. There's also a busy library in there, often full of college students.
