I love all the projects in SLC but I don't check it often because the bandwidth required to load the thread sometimes is insane.
I think the large amount of pictures in the first post of the page contributed to that. I'm sure Delts could tone it down just a bit I do appreciate the first page post pics, as there's usually just a couple, but the holiday season versions were quite large in scope.

True Tony, and also the two lengthy grand openings posts for the St. Regis and 222. I did notice yesterday, when I took another timing, that on that last particular page it did take about twenty to thirty seconds longer on a high speed download than normal. Of course, this and most other future pages will have the shorter amount. It's hard sometimes to gage, except that people love the pics, including your many and wonderful contributions. Frankly, there are few if any of T-Mac's,various others, or your pictures I would want to leave out. I think the overwhelming majority would agree.

Kp, thanks for your fantastic pics above. Case in point, not a one of them should be eliminated. I'm sure many forumer hits will return to review them again and again. I'm sure the frigid weather was a little disconcerting, having come from San Diego. I love the change of seasons, but there are definitely times around January/February, when So. Cal. sounds mighty fine.

The convention center is proposed to be built on 200 West, between Center and 100 North, near the Provo Marriott. It is planned to be three stories tall and 120,000 square feet, with a 20,000-square-foot exhibit hall and an 18,000-square-foot ballroom.

Brief: Valley Fair Mall remade

Deseret News,

Valley Fair Mall carried out a ceremonial groundbreaking Tuesday for the largest phase of the redevelopment at the West Valley shopping center. The 100,000 square feet in this phase will feature new and remodeled stores that include Ross Dress For Less, Famous Footwear, Petco, NYPD Pizzeria, Farr's Fresh Ice Cream and Frozen Yogurt Cafe and In-N-Out Burger. When the entire mall project is completed consumers will enjoy a 1 million square-foot super-regional shopping and entertainment power center.
