Downtown Winnipeg Biz seminars

Downtown Winnipeg Biz is holding meetings on how to revitalize downtown. For more info, see http://www.downtownwinnipegbiz.com/livingroom/. This is great but why are they holding the meetings in Portage Place where everyone is scared to come because of safety issues? Do they want people to attend or not? Why not hold it in a nice, safe place like the News Cafe?

I think the bigger problem with hlding these meetings in Portage Place is security will ask potentinal meeting participants to stop loiterating and leave the premises.
