^That shot above should be conclusive proof of the best skyline in the world.

STR, is it possible to add fog/mist effects, i.e. some transparency filters, could really add something special in terms of depth perception, i.e. seeing OMP way off in the distance in that shot. If it is possible, I imagine that would consume a ton of cpu resources to render....

Any new models? You fed the beast once, now you have to keep feeding it so it does't get upset.

The aerial is great, it's easy to scan the area and show off future developments to people - they seem to "get it" better with a full bird's eye.

Also, 50 E Chestnut is U/C, at 495' it's probably the tallest tower not built on the map. Great work as usual.

50 East has been on my to-do list along with texturing the Legacy and Park Tower. Hopefully all 3 will be done tomorrow plus Mandarin Oriental or Aqua.

^Well, while you're waiting in can venture over to my website and click as many of the ads as you can stand. Those Taco Bell 1/2 pound burritos won't buy themselves.

More to follow tomorrow. I have to texture all the base buildings that are to be integrated with the tower. I'll also spruce up the massing blocks in the neighborhood.

Make sure to vote in this month's diagram poll. I submitted my Fordham Spire, but there's alot of other great ones too. Supertall's Aqua is excellent and there's a cool Tokyo building as well.

Chicago World Trade Center 2,300 feet, would have been completed in the late 1980's. There is almost nothing known publicly about this proposal other than its name, the architect (Bruce Graham, architect of both the Sears Tower and Hancock Center) and the developer, Stanely Raskow. As such this preliminary render is almost completely hypothetical. The location is almost certainly wrong. Parts of the tower itself have been surmised. The facade is generic. Inspite of all that, is is still an impressive sight to behold. I'm currently researching the tower with the help of a couple others. When and if something is turned up, the model will be altered accordingly.

Yeah, that would have just destroyed the balance of the skyline.
