What's stopping you from helping? Half of the work is texturing and that's something I don't have to do. If you (or anyone else reading this) can draw as good as the texture below, you can help. Just draw one face of the building (you don't even have to get the colors right, I'd fix that afterword) then another until your done. You don't even need fancy software, I do most of the work in plain old paint.

Texture (keep in mind I've stretched it) EW faces are on the left side, the narrow N-S faces are on the right.

Final Product.

Gladly. If what you want is a flat image representing the "four walls" and roof of a building, and then you can put them together, give me (or link) some photos of a simple tall building in Chicago and I'll put something together in Photoshop. Tell me what resolution.

If you want vector I can struggle through Illustrator.

A good one to start with is 30 North LaSalle(link). It's a simple box. All you need to do is make one side, which can then be copied to all the sides. You don't need to do a roof.

Another one is the Unitrin Building (link) which has two sides which would be copied over to the other two. You wouldn't have to do the sign.

The third is 1000 Lake Shore Plaza, near JHC. It's another two sider.

The resolution for all is the height in meters times 2. The width doesn't matter as long as it doesn't exceed the height.

BTW Here's a test shot of a night lighting system. I'm not sure if I'm going to pursue this, but I'm testing the settings should I want to in the future.

Thanks, it looks great, both the diagram and the texture. I'll render some shots tomorrow.

8 hours of rendering gives you 13MB of animated goodness. Flyby 3.0 Next version will actually include a flythrough of the downtown.

This was one of my favourite buildings in Chicago. Looks great and really classy.
