Vancouver Transit Adequacy

Just remembered that day when Britney Spears was giving her circus performance in GM Place about a month ago. Just when the fans were gathering to the gates I was on the Skytrain traveling Westbound. The train had to be stopped every 2 min from Broadway station all the way to Granville, causing horrible delays. Now..this was just a bloody concert of some
wonder what's our transit service gonna look like when the Olympics arrive....

I'm not saying it's a cakewalk, but it won't be a nightmare.

The events are spread out all over the city and over 2 weeks. The only times it'll go nuts is during the hockey games.

Richmond, Burnaby, Vancouver, Whistler, UBC

Traveling between venues should be minimal. I don't know too many people going to see multiple events in one day requiring huge treks across.

It'll be busy and there will be hang ups, but it won't be too bad.
