I was working in the MNP Tower a few weeks ago and I had access to quite a few floors. Pictures were taken with my phone and weather was shit.

Dude those photos looking down W Hastings are so friggin cool. Since they finished MNP it's always been quite impressive to look down Hastings toward it and the Marine building so it's awesome to see from the other perspective.

Great shot Vantage. Reposted it in the Canada forum skyline thread with credit to you of course.

I grew up way up the hill near Grouse Mountain skyride and notice considerably less rain near the inlet now.

Thanks Pinion.
I've mostly been lurking around this forum for the past 2 years not posting much. I'm hoping to contribute a bit more now though, especially with photos.

fabulous photo, mcminsen ^^^^^^^^^^^^

Great photography, dramatized by the B&W. Ironic, tragic ... yet the photo has a near-classic aspect to it. It grabs you and makes you think about other people's lives.

I just realized that I never posted all the photos from our massive rental hunt in last spring.

One unit we saw was an older unit in the Bauhinia tower in Coal Harbour. It was a huge 1500 sqft suite, but it was only the 6th floor with barely any view and the suite had not been renovated since 1998, when the building was completed. No thank you.

We were really tempted about Coal Harbour area and saw several units in several buildings. Cascina is one of the front-row buildings, offering open views of Burrard Inlet. This unit was only on the 4th floor, but the area is so quiet and it was a very good size 1350 sqft unit.

The only problem was that we discovered several places where water damage had clearly happened and had not been addressed properly. Also the previous tenants have had kids which showed as damage on walls. The owner was not willing to do anything to address these so paying $$$ for such was a no-no as well.
