Those are some great shots! I am a tiny bit sad though, I was hoping for a whole thread of this, based on the title:

How did you manage to ... get on these rooftops without being caught by securities eh?

Takes a bit of practice, but there are ways of getting to roofs. It's not terribly difficult either. Just gotta figure it out

China is definitely a lot easier for rooftopping in general, I'd love to visit Hong Kong or Shanghai someday.

This trailer has been on a San Francisco (Tenderloin) rooftop for years, puzzling those who notice it.

Quote:
. . . the building at 132 Turk St. houses the new Bulldog Baths Dog Resort . . . . we contacted owner David Nale, and sure enough, he confirmed that there is indeed an Airstream on his roof.

Nale, who owns the historic building, began renovations in 2009 and needed a construction trailer for the crew. While most construction sites use regular modular trailers, Nale had something extra special up his sleeve: a 1977 Excella 500 Airstream. And with no front or back yard on site, the roof was the next best place to put it.

During his childhood, Nale traveled all around the country with his grandparents and the Wally Byam Caravan Club in this Airstream. It's also been to Burning Man a few times, he said. Other than removing the shag carpeting, the interior has all the original '70s-style fixtures and cabinetry.

You should probably be living in something like this.

Yeah, just noticed. I think the pic is a screen grab from a drone video. Either that or it was an earthquake in progress.

HK is easy to rooftop in because most apartment buildings have their roofs as public areas. Mainland China isn't easy. Almost all apartment rooftops are locked up tight, and office buildings are a serious risk. They'll throw you in jail if they catch you.

Rooftops are fun, aren’t they? Some are scary as hell! Great photos nevertheless.
