I saw it today from across the river. What a monster. I love it!

Just saw there's about 4 floors of glass up on the South face of the East core. Looks like they might be starting to inch upwards on glass...

Not the best photo, but showing its presence west along the river!

Facing east on Wacker Dr is going to be one hell of a perspective. It should tower way over Aqua, at 860' (although it is one block closer so it wont be an apples to apples height comparison).

This, I've thought for a while that it's going to provide an excellent echo of Mather Tower in much the way Trump does with Wrigley from my favorite viewing angle from the NW. This tower is super skinny on the E-W axis and you saw from the engineering review posted a while back. It's going to look every bit as skinny as Mather from this angle as it soars above the lower 70's-00's developments in much the same way as the Mather Tower soars over a lot of the older 1900-1920's stuff around it.

Side note: this is a terminal building for 3 of it's 4 elevations with the exception being from the East where it is blended into the river wall.

I keep forgetting that it will terminate the McClurg skyscraper canyon (in addition to Wacker and LSD).

We are very lucky to have such a stunner be so highly visible.

Wow, jaw dropping! You can really see the waving concave/convex structure really well in that first shot! The angle of the sunlight really helps make it pop!

Thanks for the amazing shots, Nick!

Yeah, it's a blast. If you can go doors off, it's worth it.

Yeeah, it's pretty wild. Can't wait until it reaches full height. Still a bit challenging to shoot from a handful of angles. Once it reaches full height, and it's glassed up, that North side is going to gleam like a gem in the early morning summer light.

Thanks for the amazing shots, Nick!

Practice! And Lightroom for straighteining and perspective control.

Here are a few more...

Phenomenal shots Nick and Amy! Although this is still an incredible concrete structure it is very sad there is no glass to accentuate the shapes. Hopefully sooner rather than later...

Thanks! I'll pass on your compliments to Amy. Once the glass is up, it'll be there for good. I'm totally fine with this being a concrete skeleton for a while longer. Truthfully, I think it would be incredible if it were topped-off sans glass. I know that won't happen, but the photos would be incredible.

Amazing shots as always, Nick. That maggie daley shot is a great perspective. Crazy to think how it still has so much more to go.

^^^^ Bravo, Nick and Amy!

The green of Maggie Daley Park has me confused with Ireland. Stunning. As a whole, our rectangle of parkland between the lake and the city has become a true competitor of Central Park. I can't think of another park that comes close.
