It was up to 25C (humidex of 29C) at 11AM before clouding up so this was our high for the day. We had some thunderstorms this evening.

Low of 18C this morning.

The warmspot was Windsor and Chatham-Kent, ON at 30.2C.

I know. It's there as a safety measure to prevent students from running across the parkway when trying to maneuver from the north to south side of campus. With all the skywalks and underground tunnels that exist today, they should consider removal of the fence.

In Memorial's master plan, they plan on lining the Parkway median which runs through campus (from Westerland down to Allandale) with trees and lamp posts. Great opportunity to get rid of the fence, but that may literally be 50 years into the future.

Sun, cloud, and 6 degrees at 9am.

Currently 24, low humidity, sunny and breezy. Very nice day for a long, walk.

We are forecasted for a high of 33 on Sunday, could be a record breaker.

Is the weather really shitty out west or something? They generally seem to post when they're trying to show off but it seems quiet from out there.

Cold and rainy all day in Moncton, currently only 7C at 9PM.

I took this photo through the window of the connector between city hall and the BMO Building. As such, there is some reflection from the glass - sorry.

City Hall Plaza in the foreground. Assumption Place in the background.

That does look really inviting!

Rainy season has hit Japan. Been cool and wet the last week or so. Only a high of 22 today. In a couple weeks summer will storm in as it always does with high temps and humidity, so I am enjoying these last few days of great sleeping weather.

As for Van, not much to report that hasn’t already been said on the last couple pages. Unsettled. Typical first half of June weather.

And we all saw the Silver Star snow pic. June snows in the alpine / sub alpine zones is also not uncommon (and can be needed moisture).

I myself posted earlier this week about the “Juneuary” conditions.

Since then not much has changed and no record style events have happened.

Warm and sunny again here today with a high of 28C, low tonight of 19C, yesterday hit 29C. Fathers Day is looking to be really hot with a high of 35C and a muggy low of just 24C, definitely summer!
