The first time I ever saw NYC with my own eyes was from this view, Unfortunately it was post 9/11 & I rember being sad the skyline was so short compaired to
all the pre 9/11 NYC images that had been burned into my brain from posters, postcards, Movies, etc.
What a different view this is from what I saw 5 years ago, I'm glad the skyline is finally back.
I was one of those who were bummed at first that twin buildings would not be rebuilt.....but after thinking about for awhile its appropriate,
we all lost something that day, and single tower is a good reminder of what was lost. It looks like something is missing from NYC.....and it is.
By the way, I'm 99% sure this photo was taken at the Twin Lights of Navasink in the Highlands of New Jersey,
what a wonderful place to sight see. Lots of cool history on that site as well.

The Sandy Hook lighthouse can be seen in the foreground. on a clear day you can even see the paratrooper ride
at Coney Island from up there.
NYC Guy thanks for posting the photo , I appreciate it.
I cant wait for the final WTC building to be fully built & the whole rebuilding process to be "finished"
