Looks a lot bulkier from the north than it does from the south. If only that back wing was incorporated into the main tower it could have been well up into the 500-600 foot range.

Now back to the regularly scheduled program...Giant hole in the ground.

This is going to make a big impact and will stand out nicely. Could be a better design but we've gone over the finer details of UT architecture in the past. All in all looking forward to seeing it rise out of the ground.

When those cranes go up, along with the 8 or so at the new medical school, the drive on MLK from Guadalupe to I35 is going to look incredible. It's already amazing at Red River and MLK -- reminds me of Vegas when City Centre was being built.

^^ That last photo allows you to see the massive size of that hole. Those of you who know, is the building footprint going to be the size of that whole area?

I was trying to find the plans I had seen before to post.
There is parking listed.
BUT
There is also a rather large undergound BALLROOM ! It sits to the
east side of the property and will reach under the road between the two buildings
and connect to the ATT center. '
If I find those plans I'll post.

^ Thanks for the research. Also, does anyone have a rendering that they can post? I'm curious what the final product will look like.

Does Alex Jones know about this yet? Sounds like some sort of bunker for the globalists to hide in while they round most of us up and herd us into abandoned WalMarts and then exterminate the rest of us with fluoridated water and chem trails. Do the research, sheeple!

This project has a high quality streaming webcam. This can be updated to U/C:

I can see my balcony from the feed. Needless to say I'm having more fun with this than I should.

Here's how this place will connect underground to the ATT conference center. There are 7 below grade levels. I don't know of any other Austin project that is as boring as this one is from street level yet so interesting on the inside and underground. The link under the rendering is to an extensive PDF with more info and renderings.

AH~!!!! Glad you found this.! I couldn't find it when ( earlier) someone asked about what was underground. This shows the ball room!

Also happy to see the bus in the drawing. I know that is odd to say, but us
NIMBY"S " had to fight to keep the street between the buildings. UT was just going to take it away and it's one of the few roads that relieve the traffic around MLK and the drag.
