Either of them seem to me to be cheesy gimmicky ideas, although I agree that the gondola looks really cheap. And the area where it sets down in the plaza is too big, boxy and ugly - really disrupts the open space and what it could be.

I predict it will be broken down, tagged, scratched up, or smelling of piss before too long. Such an expensive gimmick that will only carry a single rider up and down at a time.

on the north side of 181 Fremont, what I think is the Muni section is coming together



it was a pleasure to be able to walk through on the east side of Fremont for the first time in... years?
