Looks great! Can't wait to see HG Park after HG3 is complete, the float planes moved to their permanent home, and the seawall completed.

But the glazing has to be waaaaaaaaaay behind schedule to be so far below the floors.

It's too bad they only have 2 floors to go. The architecture could have worked for a 40+ storey tower, which can't be said about most of the 40+ storey towers built in Vancouver or Toronto these days...

Thanks L-I. I totally like the way this one's shaping up.

More glass please!

Thanks.

Looks good on the water side, but don't like the odd stagger in the spandrel panels at the side (especially since that's hghly visible looking down Canada Place Way)

First thing I noticed too.

Once the window coverings are in it probably won't be as noticeable.

Given the stagger, I hope the randomize the spandrel in 4-5 storey sections for the rest of the way up the tower.

Is there no way to make Spandrels look closer to the colour of the rest of the glass?

I don't like the fact it isn't 100% vision glass and stone, but don't mind the fact that the spandrel isn't invisible.

HOWEVER...

ABOMINATION

WTF, why can't they make this section stone???

I do like how flush the glass is with the stone at the left of that pic... why can't they do that to the rest of the punched windows?

I count three more floors, plus the roof feature (which will add an additional 2 storeys worth of height).

Probably the dreaded blank wall...

I tend to prefer the recessed windows lower in the podium versus the flush windows above. The recessing adds a layer of detail to the building. Having everything flush reminds me of an business park office block.

One other thing that's a bit inconsistent is the proportioning of the width of the stone horizontals and verticals.
On the townhouse podium, they are the same width around the windows.
On the levels higher up, the verticals are much wider than the horizontals which to me makes it look like there's a missing cornice.

My photos, from today - not a lot of progress on the glazing since my last update, and one more floor poured I think:

Meant to mention it earlier... I went by HG3 a couple of weeks ago on a really cold morning, and the glass was totally frosted over - in the morning light, the clear glass was exactly the same colour as the bright green spandrel and the two were indistinguishable - pretty cool looking. Will be neat to see the entire building looking like a giant bright green rectangle on a cold morning a year from now.

I love this tower even more than the Georgia (i'm guessing most people do by now, if it weren't the the height), but I don't get the opague green glass panels (the spandrel) in the granite vertical going up the tower... why not make it all granite?
