Anyone know when this one is going up? It looks very California like.

Presidio at the Landmark (an apartment complex similar to San Miguel across the street) is the first project to begin construction in La Joya. I'm not sure of the progress or anticipated completion date, but at least it is a sign the development is moving.

Well construction has begun on the site (if it is still according to the site plans), not quite sure what it is looking like. I'll have more info when I go by there again, perhaps some photos of the progress. Haven't been by in a week or so.

Do you think the proposal to turn the Southern Pacific line into light rail has affected this project? It could be re-designed with emphasis on the rail.

BTW a ROOMS TO GO is under construction across I-10 beside Costco.

It might affect it; possibly with the public/commercial areas to the back closer to VJ and the rail as opposed to having I-10 frontage.
