Smile NOIDA, INDIA | Noida Tower | 2,461 FT / 750 M | VISION

Well, I will start this thread as I heard the Noida Tower http://rijul1.tripod.com/id5.html in Bangalore is started the site. It has some not sure 750m and is quite a big job to be there. The design resemblance the Sagrada Família in Barcelona Church towers, but with a glass design. Cool in my oppinion.

Is it actually under construction? The rendering is very fantastical, IMHO. It could be cool if a little gimmicky as well.

It's in Noida, near Delhi, not Bangalore. It's also not U/C as far as I know.

hmm. looks like a castle (and i can see the similarity to the sagrada familia). the "spires" seem to take up large portions of the towers. anybody know if there are levels in the "spires"?

I'd doubt it they seem very small. For some of the larger spires, maybe 1 floor...

I've yet to see any news about this being under construction, and that website, which looks to be a personal websites of someone's, is not a reputable, reliable source.

Mkmillenium, it's incumbent up on you to find news that this is anything more than a proposal.

The Noida Tower proposal isn't in Bangalore...it's in Noida (outside New Delhi).

Honestly, those manage to be both stupid and ugly. Couldn't they just cluster a bunch of Swiss RE headquarters instead? There'd be the same floorspace, without the ridiculous cone spires (the poorly thought out result of using cones....CONES as a good shape for a building.)

But seriously, wasn't this cancelled years ago? I remember taking typing classes in grade....12 when this first hit the news (really that was like last year, but it's still been quiet for a while.)
