Good quote. I thought I'd hate it, but when I drove by yesterday from Vaughn Harvey, it caught my eye and I didn't hate it either. I guess bad art is better than no art.

I walked by the events centre last evening and there were a couple of skateboarders doing tricks off the performance stage in front of the Ian Fowler Oval. They were at serious risk of doing damage to the shrubs they had planted around the stage.

I think the police (now) and events centre security staff (eventually) should seriously crack down on this type of activity.

Police have in the passed when they caught them at 1111 Main, and at the New Court house. They have also issued skaters tickets at city hall, and in front of Assumption place. They don't seem to care. Police might actually need to be able to arrest them, and not just issue tickets.

If only this were possible. Alas, skateboarders have much less to fear from the insidious and nefarious boot Nazis than do innocent and harmless wayward parkers in the city core........

Make the fine like 500-1000 bucks if you skateboard at City Hall, the Courthouse or the Event Centre. If I had to pay 500 bucks if I got caught, I would go elsewhere.

Thats not gonna do much. Most of them are teenagers who either cant afford the fine, or just wont bother paying it.

What are the cops gonna do? Have a bounty after them

They are not gonna flood the court house's schedule for skateboarding infractions.

They could however confiscate their boards and have to pay a fee at City Hall to get it back.

Wow that’s hideous! Moncton really has made some awful artwork choices.

Can someone please tell me when Wild Cats season ticket purchase will be available for sale to the general public?

I can't find anything on their web site, which drives me nuts to the point of almost anger.

They've been available to the General Public since June 8th (facebook post). Agreed their website is a little unclear.

Looking at the T&T I wish they would make it more obvious of when but I'm guessing it's next Saturday the event centre is to be holding a job fair as they have positions to fill in food & Beverage, Cleaning, and also the setting up, and taking down for events. All positions are part time.

It's on right now, until 5 pm.
This is at least their second job fair. I'm not sure if that means they are struggling to fill these jobs or not. But if anyone knows anyone looking to make a few bucks every few days now and then, here ya go.

Concert announcement tomorrow at 11am.
Edmonton also have a concert announcement labeled as "huge " tomorrow at the same time.

Contact information for the Moncton Wildcats.

Office: 506.382.5555
Fax: 506.858.2222
Email: info@moncton-wildcats.com

This is probably the only way that you can contact them at present, as they have moved out of the Coliseum to new digs in the events centre, but the events centre is not yet open to the general public.

Apparently one of the concessions in the new events centre will be Goji's

Are they planning on having the concessions open the rest of the time? It would be nice for the folks who work in the area to have additional options to grab a bite to eat. In terms of events though, Goji's is a terrible choice. It'll be great waiting in line behind a crowd of 25 who can't decide what flavor and then topping they want. Hopefully they'll be televising the game/concerts across the event center for all the time you'll miss while stuck in line.
