Ridiculous thread -- maybe one of the better ones this year. Thanks for the real glimpse into Toronto...sadly, I feel like its my first real look into it, because all of the other Toronto threads on here show crappy suburbs (!!); not any real urbanity or people.
Well, most of Toronto is suburban after all, having been developed in the post-war era... so it can be said that the other threads showing the suburbs already gave you a "real look" at Toronto. I don't know which threads you refer to, since i don't rmember any suburban Toronto threads.

I suspect that King is referring to mike's snoozerific threads.

Toronto is like that! It doesn't always make a great first impression, but the more time you spend with it, the more it grows on you.

Spring

Here's the last set of Tdot photos I have from the spring, taken mostly around Dundas/Queen/King west and the Harbourfront.
I'm moving back there in a couple of days so I can't start taking some new ones again!

Where is this house? Near the Danforth somewhere? That's by far the ugliest house I've ever seen in Toronto.

Great pics.

^The Parthenon on Shaw is what it's usually known as. Shaw st north of Bloor, 1016 to be exact.

It is truly hideous.

That's not far from me. I'll have to walk by and check out it's hideousness.
