Wyoming, so that people will go to see it and that state will have a tourism industry at last.

If Philly were able to build the proposed American Commerce Center (1,510')on time it would have been the tallest building in the US for about a year before the WTC would have been finished. But the economy farted so if it is built it will be years from now.

Chicago. New York doesn't want higher than the Empire State except at WTC.

Hogwash ! New York likes everything tall. Its only has the most high rises in the world by a loooooong shot. In fact, we are adding the equivalent of San Francisco as we speak... lol. the next tallest will be in Hudson Yards me think - a 500m bohemoth.

I'll give Manhattan the nod.
I know some want Brooklyn and some like Queens.
Imagine building it on Roosevelt Island?

I vote Manhattan because that's the center of the skyline.
Imagine if it were located between Midtown and Downtown!
That would be so awesome!

If it's part of a complex of smaller towers (to make it fit in the skyline better), i'll go out on a limb and say Los Angeles. And i'm sure there's some boosterism there.

New York City. Would be cool if it was in Brooklyn, spreading the core out.

Austin, Texas... If you had San Antonio on that list should have added Austin, we already have the tallest building in Texas outside of Houston and Dallas...
