It still looks ok but the previous design was much much nicer.

Ugh, this piece of crap is one I wish had stayed on the drawing board.

This is going to look kind of awkward next to Aura.

Even the previous twin tower proposal from the previous architect added more variety.

The previous design looked great. When they changed it to this my interest in it vanished. I hope it doesn't move forward as is.

I agree, but unfortunately it looks like it is moving forward, if koops's reports of site prep are accurate. We can only hope it looks better in reality than in the renders, because at that size and breadth it has the potential to be a real blight.

I still can't believe such a massive tower is U/C with no sales to speak of yet.

Update

Since the last update, there's been some work made with excavation, although Cresford, who was developing the site went under....so the future of this project is unknown...until they find a buyer for the site. If they do find a buyer, I believe the site can resume construction...but for now I suspect this'll be dormant for a while....I took this today

This project was pretty well cancelled for a number of months...but seemingly a new developer wil be restarting work on this. Said developer is pretty cheap...so this might be a VERY ugly tower unfortunately:

Machinery on-site. This one is a go again, with a new developer. I'm actually partial to the model.

*SIGH*, a near-supertall just like the 298m First Canadian Place. Good thing the city does have two supertalls rising.
