It's hard to tell but it looks like some hi-breed curtain wall/ window wall system going in on the north side. Hopefully with a few floors added we'll have a better idea. I do like the thick border though, that's going to highlight the profile of the tower from afar.

The northside looks like curtianwall. The boxy cornering is being used to connect the two different glass systems.

omg! i just cant tell you how much i hate what they are doing with that gross cladding. they are actually putting that stuff on this wonderful tower. its a sin against the skyscraper gods i tell ya. a big, fat, very ugly sin. kill them before it goes any further. kill them now! hahaha

Really? i quite like it. I didn't like the cladding they stuck up a couple weeks ago, but i like this stuff.

It looks like we have found our front-runner for most disappointing tower in the entire city. I know I shouldn't jump to conclusions so soon, but that cladding looks HIDEOUS.

I agree it is a bit early to judge, but based on that cladding this building could be soo much more than what I'm imagining based on that cladding.

Imagine if it had the same quality of cladding as Shangri-la?

The curtainwall is too dark and opaque. I guess this will become Toronto's scar like the Verizon building in NYC.
