I will not go the weekend without coffee again. After not drinking coffee since Friday, I awoke the morning feeling like someone hit me in the head a couple of times with a 2X4. Like an addict in need of a fix, I virtually crawled to the coffee machine (thankfully I loaded with beans and water the night before!). I burned my mouth trying swallow it down quickly.

He was banned, made a new profile, and is still here.

Awwww.....he's just a lonely, misunderstood soul and needs nothing more than a good friend and confidant.........Sorry, that was pure bullshit, go ahead and smack him.

Phil's resurgence is probably the second-most infamous case of a former troll rejoining the forum under a different username.

The first, of course is the irreplaceable 32001.

Before I forget: Keith, don't you go to Simon Frazier University? A colleague of mine at NAU just got accepted to their doctoral program.

And yet BTinSF, a great contributor to the discussion, remains banned. But a certain European forumer can troll threads and insult other users who do not agree with his position (bullshit!) with impunity. I've thought about changing my avatar to Cartman more than a few times in protest.

yeah, Simon Fraser (aka SFU).

are they starting over the summer or in the fall? i hope they like fog, rain, snow, and concrete .

it's a bit of a school tradition to hate on the architecture, location, weather, and lack of school spirit, events, social life, or anything fun like that. it does have innovative educational opportunities, though.

The water main going into my building broke, so the water is off while they repair it.

But wait! There's more!!

They used a jackhammer to do most of the work and spent two hours beating the shit out of the ground to access it!

But wait! There's more!!

Just as I fall asleep:

A drunk driver plows through the construction zone and hits my building! (The building is fine.)

I have to go to work in seven hours and we don't have running water right now.

Watching motorists try to handle a one block detour has been hilarious though. "OMG! A sign with a big arrow pointing left on it!! Umm... let's turn right, into this parking lot that has no other exit!!"

Northbound motorist: "I'll save time by using the alley way instead of driving all the way to McKenzie!"
Southbound motorist: "I'll save time by using the alley way instead of driving all the way to McKenzie!"
You can guess what happens next.

Anyway, this is how my night has been. Thank god I have an easy going boss because I am going to be bitchy in the morning. He hit the building 45 minutes ago and they're just taking the car away now.

The best part about working for an accounting firm is all the OT I get during Tax Season. Bring it!

I don't think she'll care. She's just happy she won't be in Arizona much longer.

Perhaps single camera.....jittery, like it's a hand-held. A most over-used effect these days.

The google camera caught my grandfather walking out of my grandmother's house. That's his Crown Vic parked on the lawn - Alabama style

Streetview got a photo of my grandma sitting in her car parked outside of a porn store. The reason she was there is because my uncle was going to the model store beside it. I walked by about 2 minutes after the Streetview car went by. So far, I haven't found anyone else I know on Streetview.

Woke up to a Facebook message from my ex. First time I've heard from her since Christmas due to her chaotic work schedule the past couple months.

We've managed to stay quite close, and talked a lot from September through December.

Last time I talked with her, she had just started seeing a new guy. Things seemed to be going well. At the time I hoped he was a good guy; now I hope he's a great guy...she's pregnant. It's the last thing she needs right now, given the economic situation in Spain, and the uncertainty of her employment situation over the next while. She did want kids in the next few years. Hopefully she sees the silver lining here.

I flew over Thunder Bay on my way to London last night. No hookers were spotted from 36,000 feet.
