Strange how the press release doesn't even say "adjacent to Terry Fox Plaza".

From VanCity Buzz:

http://www.vancitybuzz.com/2014/10/b...ouver-contest/

Looks like they stripped out all the cool lighting fixtures that the previous restaurants had (maybe 3 restaurants ago).

anyone want to hedge bets as to where they will open the third?

Maybe granville street? Gastown but closer to canada place? I am interested to see where they think that third location will be suitable. If they really wanted a "flagship" how about somewhere on robson.

The news release says it's the first or 2 urban locations - where does it say 3 locations?

Thanks.
Based on the 2 locations revealed, central Robson is too close to both, and Yaletown is too close to the Stadium one, so I'd say Gastown, deep in the West End or Coal Harbour. Maybe CBD to catch both Coal Harbour and Canada Place / Gastown.
What's in that restaurant/nightclub space at Oceanic Plaza these days?

I also noticed that the one on Marine Drive in North Vancouver also closed - not sure when.

Where was this located? In Downtown or in Kitsilano? I only knew their North Vancouver location which is no closed.

They need at least 5-6000 sq ft so that does narrow down the options. Any under performing locations in the Donelly group? If not maybe they will take that location in front of the steam clock. Then Glowbal will finally have a reason to turn Water Street Cafe into another Italian Kitchen

very true but I don't think that location will be suitable for them. Maybe the Red Robin location? Although that space is pretty close to the "theatre district" location.

Pretty small isn't it?

Wonder if a West End location closer to the beach might be in play, a lot of new space going up on Denman.

I think this is where the third location will be in. Denman area is always busy, so a good location. Somewhere along Davie Street could be another option. "Boston Pizza - Gay District"

I had quick chat with Custodial Staff at The Keg Shangri-La Location apparently they are scheduled to have a Soft Opening Tomorrow. The Location looks like it's nearly complete with its renovations.

I was thinking West End, too - but is that their target market - i.e. West Enders may be a bit more discriminating in their taste?

West End, although great with Asian food, has its vast share of fast food joints. Something is supporting those places and so I think Boston Pizza would fit right in.

So this why the Blenz on Seymour near Robson shut down.

PS, the sushi place is also closed now too.
