Thanks! I guess I did a pretty good job capturing it then.

Nice photos showing off the skyline; some of the newer buildings are quite attractive.

Thanks! So many people on this website find it fit to put them down. Not sure why. Every city I've been to has buildings I like and some I don't like. I don't hold a venomus tongue against the architecture in other cities though.

These Aqua rip-offs are getting ridiculous.

I agree. Aqua is honestly kind of cheap to begin with and this just doesnt even have the same flare.

Nice. Thats really similar to the Sony alpha 580 that I use. I think they have the same sensor. The 5100 did at least. I always shoot in vivid and bump the color saturation up as high as it can go in camera and then bump it more in post to get the disko style.

Departing MIA for New York!

I've been wanting to capture this perspective for a long time. You just have to get the right departure angle.

Cool Regalia is part of the Sunny Isles Beach skyline along with Mansions at Acquelina.

Outstanding shots, QuantumX! Thanks for sharing.

One question: How did you take them? All these aerial views are spectacular, really.

By the way, I like a lot that building very similar to the Aqua in Chicago? Where is located in?

Congrats and greetings from Madrid, Spain.

Thanks! I do my aerials with Miami Seaplane Tours! The Aqua-looking building is Regalia. It is on the north end of the Sunny Isles Beach skyline northeast of Miami.

I'm a huge fan of Miami's skyline. There's no place like it in the continental US. Ive walked and driven all around the downtown and to Brickell Village and really enjoyed it. Did that monorail thing a few times to get an overview. I didnt realize North Miami is so built up but from the bridge to South Beach you can see it off to the left but it didnt look as tall from further away as it does in your closer up pics. I guess that makes sense eh?. Those were awesome , thanks for sharing 'em

Thanks, Kevin! You're one of the few people I've heard say this.

You're welcome and thank you!

So much more is planned and much is already under construction. The Miami skyline should be quite awesome by 2020.

Here is Regalia in the Sunny Isles Beach skyline. It was a bad day to get the shot I wanted. We rarely have smog. This is just a haze off the ocean because of the humidity in the air. It's almost like a light fog.
