You can donate to the "Save a Chris foundation". I accept money wire, visa, check, american express, a new Mercedes, and plain cash, your paychecks, and so on.

Every cent may or may not guarantee more construction updates. The Mercedes is for the off chance that I don't take NJ Transit. Still, you should donate. I only accept E class and above. Preferably an S.

The save a chris foundation also provides shelter for ssp members. Shelter in high priced units in Verre. With enough donations, we can get some of them living in there. So your donation is for a good cause.

I have an old vacuum cleaner . .
and torn flea-market painting . .
I could contribute to "Save a Chris foundation".

Before anyone here makes the observation, I would note that any notice of the differing facade treatments in the YIMBY article versus the "official" render in this tower is most likely for the same reason regarding what was observed in the 220 CPS drawing.

This building is sexy. It's like a modern Sears tower, with some curves near the top.

Do we know when the whole Hudson Yards development is due to be completed? (So I know when to book my flight and hotel!)

Phase 1 should finish by 2019. Granted this could always be extended, but then there is phase II, which is probably another 5 to 6 years. But I'd book your flight like right now, and come as soon as possible to see the place. The whole complex has a tentative date for 2024; being Phase I + II.

But that's way to long to wait!

Love those shots - you really get a feel for how the area is going to take shape and what a dramatic transformation it will be. You also really develop an appreciation for how complex the components of the project are that are being built above an active and vital rail yard.

The peripheral (near-)supertalls--i.e. Spiral, the Girasole, the MW complex and the Penn Tower et alia-will be doing some serious clamoring for attention here.
I daresay also that this complex actually does a better job at being faithful to the mandate which Mr. Libeskind called for a scant few miles south...from two angles yet.

^ I still say the SHoP designed tower at 360 10th Ave could end up as tall or taller than 30 Hudson, making it potentially the tallest of the group.

This tower will be taller than One57, and would be causing outrage among the NIMBYs had it been built near Central Park. But here, it will blend in as filler.
