Photo update from over the holidays:

Private patio of a townhouse, with fireplace

Close-up shot of the polished stone

The silver trim on the exposed columns, entrance canopies, balcony edges, etc is really unfortunate. A dark metal would have gone much better with the stone.

I walked around the building today. Wow it looks really good. Everything is basically finished. All the fencing is down and the landscaping is basically finished. This place oozes money. Occupancy must be soon

The public art along Thurlow looks good, as those the lighting along the ground. I hadn't noticed that the pixelated orca across the street had a lighting effect at light, really cool.

Not too happy how this development meets the corner of Thurlow and Cordova.
With the parkade entrance there it just seems to diminish an important and highly visible corner.

The podium is such a tragedy. Not only is a full bay of the grand arcade structure taken up by an emergency exit, there's a cheap metal fence blocking the townhouses/water features from the public? And townhouses facing a convention centre?? Not to mention the piss poor job they did of hiding the vents.
