Also , you can see the former hotel and shelter looks to be getting demolished

^^ The last column below the last floor plate looks to be wider than the ones below. This must be because of the cantilevers that will be extending out.

Don't think I have seen that before. Best guess: to control the temperature so the summer heat does not cause expansion stresses. Those members could expand by inches from the air temperature and sun on a hot day.
