Innsertnamehere's etc. thread

I've made a few things on sketchup other than Howich and the space elevator, mostly before I started Howich, and most of them are half-finished, but I thought i'd share them anyways.

first off, a very colorful city I made BEFORE howich....

second the public library in my town. note how its half finished

third I have this small office/retail building

fourth, I have the most incomplete of them all, a building with retail, apartments, and underground parking.

last but not least, a 300m tall building I made. The skinny blue part is meant to be a small hotel, and the rest is office space.

Looks great so far. Can't wait to see it when it's detailed.

One suggestion would be is I would put those two top floor building thingies together.

all lovely models, my comments 1-by-1:

1. wonderfull colorful art architecture city made in 3d, unique, not seen yet.
2. library is a beautiful old house, hope to see more details of pic in your 3d.
3. for a shop at corner out there in neighborhood for a videotheke seems Ok.
4. Wonderfull 300m building, simple but totally different no arch discover yet.
5. This modernist house i liked much, but would prefer the walls in white sure.
6. Beautiful glass effects for such small office building box as ever there also.
7. For a studio, shopping or whatever office company HQ seems really nice.

haha! I am making a modern house too!!!!

As for a suggestion, everything is awsome and great, but I think you should take off those two sides at the very ends of the house as it doesn't make the house look as modern unlike the middle of the house. Hoped that maked sense.

Great work!

Yeah, I meant those surrounding filler buildings around the house.

Maybe you should expand the garage to make it bigger.

Are you also doing the interior?

I like the middle part with the large dark glass surfaces against plain white walls. I'm not sure about the brick wings. I don't think they complement the style of the middle part - but then again, they're not finished, so maybe it's too early to judge. I would make their roofs similar to increase harmony.

as mentioned earlier, the brick houses on either sides are just there to show that the house is in a dense neighborhood, and they are just filler blocks i spent 30 seconds on making... and thanks vellu!
