Looks like I was wrong. Might still be another 2 months yet before we see the crane go up here. Still though, this project has maintained a relatively low profile on the skyscraper geek radar.

When it gets above ground it will be a nice surprise, like whoa!, where did this one come from. Was it even under-construction? kinda thing!!

It won't be 2 months. I am pretty sure the crane will be arriving soon. Infact, it was suppose to arrive on numerous occasions but there have been delays (looks like they were dealing with a watering issue, as there was dewatering equipment on site). The last few days I have seen an AMHERST crane remove the dewatering machine, also delivering rebar - which suggests that within the next week or so we could see a crane. Since all I have to do is look out of my window, I'll report back when I see the crane installation.

Wow a lot has happened since the last update. This must be the podium beside the big pit? They can't be out of the deep hole that quick.

The previous photo was from March of 2012, not 2013.

Not much movement in the almost 3 months since your last update. Are the U sloths moonlighting on this one?

The cladding looks awesome. Hopefully the balcony railings don't ruin it as they look to be white in the rendering.

I don't believe they are white. It's probably just the glare in the rendering. The rendering seems a little dramatic when you look at it. Even the cladding looks to be lighter, even though we know it will look exactly like X.
