All set for 200m VerTiPlex in Birmingham

A Unique and Exciting Visitor Attraction

The VTP200 tower will offer three very different attractions for visitors, who will be able to: experience amazing views; enjoy the high rides; and face the challenge of the extreme activities - a real alternative to the traditional theme park.

Previously unseen views:

Three 25 person glass lifts, like those on the London Eye, rising up to the main Observation Level at 117 metres;

Viewing platforms on three levels offering 360 degree panoramic views of the city and surrounding areas;

A 50 person gyro tower offering views across almost 3,500 square miles of central England as it gently rotates and climbs to a height of 190 metres.

Tower Rides:

The Giant Drop - an 8 person free-falling lift that drops 95 metres into the base of the building. This will be the tallest free falling lift in Europe;

The See-Saw - an 8 person vehicle which plummets over the edge of the tower at 125 metres;

20 Flight Trainers - interactive joystick-controlled capsules which spin around the building at a height of 110 metres.

Extreme Activities:
All extreme activities are supported by safety trained staff and secured by safety harnesses.

The Walk of Fear - allows you to walk around the outside of the building at 115 metres,

The Climb to the Top - allows you to climb to the top of the tower and have your photograph taken against the city skyline;

The Sky Jump - a 100 metre high speed descent, controlled by a super fast winch, which gives the jumper the experience of free falling;

The Bungee Jump - the UK's highest controlled Bungee jump.

The base of the tower will include restaurants, retail units, educational facilities, a 250-bedroom hotel, a rock climbing wall, the lift boarding platform and ticketing booths.
