That used to be the dead zone of the U District. And now the parking lot is for sale (finally!!!!!!) and the far left has a highrise residential plan. That area is sooo much better than it was, but it might be better still in four years, which coincides with the train arriving.

Also it's a nice view of the area around future Roosevelt Station in the distance.

Middle left on the block at the center of the photo. This was in the DJC in the summer, as the idea changed from a midrise to a highrise after the upzone. They called it 4512 11th Ave NE, and said it was 340 units and potentially up to 320'.

You're correct! Never heard of it and doesn't show in Shaping Seattle or Seattle in Progress. It must be replacing the 4510 11th Ave project on the first page of this thread which is a sweet design itself for lowrise/midrise.

A new Paul Pong-related LLC is proposing a residential high-rise with 340 units on a midblock site in the University District that could be the tallest tower built in the neighborhood in four decades.

Sightline Institute estimates that only about 500 new condo units will come on the market in Seattle in 2018-2019 — and 389 of them will be in the Nexus high rise.

Few new condominiums are being built in Seattle, and they tend to be high-rise, glass-and-concrete buildings with luxury price points, such as Civic Square, Nexus, Luma, Gridiron and Insignia.

Units in the eight-story building would range from about 516 to 1,020 square feet, mostly one-bedrooms.

Mercy Housing updates Rainier Valley units

Mercy Housing will meet with a Seattle design-review tonight to show updated plans for an eight-story apartment building slated for a site by the Mount Baker light rail station.

The 95-unit project would be built on a 17,900-square-foot site at 2780 S. Hanford St. The property is bounded by Hanford, Rainier Avenue South and Martin Luther King Jr. Way South.

Those are both rented entirely to Google, totaling about 600,000 sf. It'll bring them to over 1,000,000 sf of local offices. The blocks each have a residential component on one corner as shown.
