A document concerning plans for audiovisual components of Comcast’s second Philadelphia tower, the under construction Comcast Innovation and Technology Center, suggests that Comcast plans to build a third building as part of their Center City Philadelphia campus. The engineering document, a Basis of Design report for the space NBC10 will occupy, states that........

Good reporting. Comcast has bought up as much property as they can in the block northwest of the CITC. It's clear they plan on a third building - but the when and what of it are not yet known - at least not to the public at large.

Good detective work. It does seem to suggest something is in the works. With respect to timing, “there’s nothing around the corner” depends upon one's perception. Whatever this is, it's certainly more than two years away. It's also not "around" the corner, because it will be *across* the corner or on the same block. Speaking of the latter, I'm quite surprised that we've heard nothing about developing the second Comcast parcel on JFK. Most folks have been focusing on the property acquisition at 19th and Arch.

Leave it to the young bulls to dig deep for the goodies, great job Ricky. Meanwhile that lot is a great place to sit and drool at the mass of steel going up

It won't be that wide. That rendering is way too wide.

SLS is down S Broad. It most likely is both CHOP and One riverside giving the diagram a different shape. That is at least what I thought, nothing else is really planned for around there along the river that has significant height.

It's right behind Residences at the Ritz, so I would go with the W.

The one behind the Ritz is definitely the W, but he asked what was behind the PECO building.

The anamation looks like it was flipped like a projection onto a glass screen . The north south orientation looks reversed as viewed from uni city ?Nerve mind. The view is looking southeast that why city hall is on the left of Comcast so yes the building could be chop .The W is to the right of city hall
.

Source is Liberty Property Trust. Don't think there will be another supertall here, could be wrong though. Early site plans call for three towers on this block. Another office tower for Comcast, a second office tower (unknown tenant) and a residential tower.
