Office highrise and observation tower for Porto Alegre

This is a building I had done 2 years ago, I never finished it (the base of the building is quite incomplete), and together with it an observation tower.

Yesterday, looking my models, I found it and I decided to improve it a big. I did not FINISH it, just added some detais, set materials, added GoogleMaps terrain and 3D buildings from Porto Alegre (most of them I did myself, when I used to do GoogleEarth models), and did some renders.

The office building (actually, its an hotel in the botton half, and office in the top half) is 200m tall and the observarion tower is 360m at top observation deck, and 480m at the top of the spire.

Nice detail on the observation tower! The design looks pretty unique to me. I also like the skyscraper. Although the shape is quite heavy the facade makes it look quite light.

thanks for the replies. I had done some more renders, but since there were no replies here at SSP, I ended up not posting them here.

notice the stairs behind the glass

hotel room (the bottom part, its visible from sideway views because it has balconies)

The observation tower looks really massive in the aerial pic, from the pictures before I would have guessed it to be around maybe 200m. And nice facade.

its almost 500m tall.

sometimes you only realize the size of an structure when you are in movement... meaning... buildings which are close to you move while the big structure in the background stays almost fixed in the background, because its very far away.

The hotel/office looks very good up close! The glass color and the light stone(?) surface work very well together.
