SHOFFEAR's hood: Westbrook. something for just about every body's taste

I've always thought Westbrook was pretty special because it contains just about every building style over the last 50 years.

Here's a map showing what is covered

Unless some of these houses have some SERIOUS FOUNDATION PROBLEMS, I can only assume you take your pictures with a home made camera?

PS I love Westbrook

I grew up in the area too (80's/90's), but now live in the UK. Great to see all the old houses on your photo tour. My mom still lives in Aspen Gardens so I go back once every year or so. In the past few years I've been surprised when i see more of the old houses I grew up with being knocked down and replaced with McMansions. You missed Don Getty's old house! When I was a kid in the 80's I always loved that ultra contemporary white house you've got a picture of and the brick one that almost looks like a suburban office building. Now though, my favorite is the faux tudor on Marlboro...

Definitely a great neighbourhood!

I live in Westbrook as well. Every year, 3 or 4 houses are demo'd and something entirely different springs up. It's interesting seeing all the diversity.

I still see you rolling by once n' a while, SHO.
