Awesome news. I really do like this project for this part of town. It will be very visible, and while angular as opposed to the curve appeal we've seen in other recent projects, had unique form aspects to it that will diversify the downtown aesthetic.

Looking forward to construction updates on this one as it grows!

Am currently installing cabinets in the westernmost tower, 7 suites per floor, 2 - 1 bedroom, 4 - 2 bedroom, 1 - 3 bedroom. All are quite bright inside due to large windows, cabinets are of a decent quality, drawers boxes are very nice. Don't know much about anything else yet with respect to finishings as that all comes after us cabinet guys, suspect flooring will be luxury vinyl plank. There's about 34-35 floors of suites in this first building, crane is scheduled to come down January 31st although the cold weather could delay that a bit.

That tower is a nice addition to the skyline. Hopefully it'll look good when they the skin.

Glass up to 26, framers working on 24, cabinets finished up to 11, finish carpenters moving to 11. I did happen to notice that there is fiber fed into every suite but I don't recall seeing coax - I'll check on Monday.

There is coax in each suite, TELUS owns the fiber.

Confirmed today, suites on floors 5-39 and the east tower will be as tall as the west tower - basically an exact copy except flipped 180 degrees.

Hi all! It's been a couple years since I've posted here! Glad to see West Village Towers turning out nicely! I can remember about 3-4 years ago saying the 3 towers should be dropped to 2 towers! My theory then was of course that one of the towers would be maybe 8-10 stories taller. Glad to see at least the second is going to be as tall as tower #1?
BTW, has the second tower started yet?

You don't live in Calgary anymore?

Anyhow, second tower is probably up at 25-27 floors already. Cabinets are being installed around the 30-32 floors in the first tower.
